Sindh Board of Technical Education Karachi SBTE
Sindh Board of Technical Education was established in 1970 in order to regulate, organize, control and develop vocational, technical, commercial and industrial undergraduate education in the province of Sindh. All the public and private institutes of Sindh which offer certificate and diploma level education in the fields of commerce, IT, associate engineering etc. are affiliated with SBTE. From these institutes, thousands of students participate in the technical exams under SBTE every year.
All the above mentioned institutes start the registration and admission process of new students in the classes couple of months before the start of new academic year. Schedule of new academic year for different disciplines is different according to their examination schedule. Admission process of all the disciplines complete in time.
Both model papers and past papers are important from examinational point of view. Model papers cover the new paper pattern and syllabus adopted by the board while past papers guide the students about important questions which can be repeated in the exams. Model papers are uploaded at the official site of SBTE every year while past papers can be taken from the market.
PBTE issues date sheets and roll number slips one and two months before the start of the exams. Date sheets provides complete examination schedule while roll number slips provide roll number, examination venue and important instructions to the students. Date sheets can be seen online while roll number slips are mailed to the institutes of the students by the board.
PBTE announces the results of different disciplines of technical education after two or three months of the exams. These results can be viewed immediately after the result announcement at the official site of the board while result cards can be collected by the students from their institutes few days after the declaration of results.
